About Me

Hello to all the beautiful readers who have found their way to my page. Thank you all so much for joining The Super Mom Club!

My name is Lindsey Peterson. I was born and raised in Western Wisconsin. My husband Colin and I were married in October of 2016, and I gave birth to our handsome son the following August. They truly are the loves of my life. Colin and I own and operate a dairy cattle hoof trimming business and really enjoy our job.

Before becoming pregnant I tried my best to prepare myself by asking questions and doing research on things I thought were vital to know before bringing a small human into our very big world. NEWS FLASH! It is absolutely impossible to fully prepare yourself for this occurrence the first time around.

This brings me to why I am starting this blog. I do not, nor will I ever claim to be an expert at “momming”, but there are many things I have learned throughout this journey I would like to share with other moms that I found to be very helpful! I welcome EVERYONE to this blog. I’m a firm believer that communication is one of the most important parts of any relationship so if you’re a mom who’s reading this and thinking “Gee, I really think my husband would benefit from this!” Then direct him this way….we want super dad’s, super grandma’s/grandpa’s, super aunt’s/uncle’s to be a part of the journey as well.

We are not going to be biased at this blog. If you breastfeed, you’re a good mom. If you formula feed, you’re a good mom. Homeschool? Good mom! Go to school? Good mom! Being a mom is not always easy, but we all do the best we can. The bottom line being, if your children are always taken good care of and they feel safe in your arms, you’re being a great parent! One of the greatest things about parenting is just being able to watch them grow and know that you created such a wonderful human!

I hope this little insert has given you some insight into my life. Let’s start supporting each other on this amazing, rewarding journey of raising children in the twenty-first century! #teamsupermoms

Much Love,

My Partner In Crime

I’ve brought a team member here to help me stay organized and sane. You will be seeing posts from her as well because she’s really awesome. She doesn’t have any kids of her own yet, but plans to in the future. She does, however, have A TON of babysitting experience so she’s going to be a valuable asset to this page. You will know her as Avery, known around my house as loving sister and Auntie. Here’s what she has to say about herself 🙂

Hey there everybody, I’m Avery and I’d describe myself as your typical college student. Most of my week is made up of classes Monday-Thursday and babysitting on Fridays. My weekends consist of lots of homework and time spent with family. I am a middle child and I like being the center of attention. I am here to help you find easy ways to organize your spaces, and to help my sister start our business together. I also want to show you how you can be trendy and fashionable even on a budget. I am very excited to start this journey with you all and I hope you enjoy these posts and find value in being a part of this community.

Yours Truly,

Avery Jean
